This is something different for me. Looks kinda crude I know.
What's different is I worked this up totally using the Sketchbook Pro App on my iPad. As I get used to working with it things should start looking better ... as I grow so to speak.
So ... the back-story of this drawing ... what we have here is the Dung Beetle family out for a Sunday push. Kids ....

My offering today is very much influenced by the style of one of my favourite contemporary cartoonists, a "young" Alaskan fellow by the name of Chad Carpenter, author of "Tundra". Chad's a highly talented Reuben Award winning cartoonist drawing what he knows ... life in Alaska through his eyes.

Aw gaaawd ... I can't believe I took three months off from this. The good news is I never stopped jotting down ideas in my notebook. The question is do I posess the drawing skills and teniques to pull off what was running through my head?
